Governor Otter conducts the Governor’s Innovation Summit, 8 a.m.-5:30 p.m., Stueckle Sky Center, Boise State University. Governor C.L. "Butch" Otter, Idaho Office of Energy Resources Administrator Paul Kjellander and Micron Vice President of Process R&D Scott DeBoer announce an American Recovery and Reinvestment Act project award to Micron Technology at 9:15.

August 28, 2009 — Governor Otter Kicks Starts Major Cost-Saving Project for Public Schools at Homedale School District on August 28. The Idaho Office of Energy Resources will spend $17.5 million in available federal stimulus money to make Idaho public school buildings more energy efficient. The project is expected to reduce schools' energy use and carbon emissions significantly over the next three years.

July 18 and 19, 2009 — The 2009 Idaho Green Expo is a two day event showcasing environmentally friendly products and services featuring Idaho businesses and organizations passionate about promoting a green living lifestyles. Idaho Green Expo will be sharing with thousands of Treasure Valley residents the features and benefits of keeping a green attitude towards the environment in order to maintain the unique quality of life in Idaho.
